Zoomer Radio AM 740 and 96.7 FM

The New Classical FM is English Canada’s only commercial all-classical music radio station and broadcasts Beautiful Music For A Crazy World – plus news, weather, traffic, Zoomer Reports, interviews and live concert broadcasts in front of a live studio audience from the 150-seat Zoomer Hall in Toronto’s Liberty Village.

The New Classical FM is broadcast on three different frequencies throughout Ontario: 96.3 FM (GTA), 103.1 FM (Eastern Ontario), and 102.9 FM (South Georgian Bay).

Daybreak starts with Jean Stilwell and Adi Braun on Classical Mornings weekdays from 6am to 10am ET. Jean is a world renowned opera star and Adi is one of Canada’s leading jazz cabaret chanteuses. Together, they bring interviews with some of biggest names in arts and culture – plus news, traffic, weather and information.

In 2021, international touring classical pianist Daniel Vnukowski settled down in Collingwood to host The Jukebox heard weekdays from 10am to 3pm ET. Daniel broadcasts live from the local downtown radio studio taking listener requests, and sharing his own selections and stories inspired by his impressive musical career.

The afternoon drive becomes a calm Oasis with Mark Wigmore, and an evening meal is never complete without Kathleen Kajioka’s Dinner Classics as she takes you through the perfect musical mix from appetizers to dessert. Seven nights a week from 11pm – 1am, the perfect way to end your day is Nocturne, the world’s only radio show featuring a unique combination of calming music and poetry hosted by Marilyn Lightstone, actress, visual artist, the voice of The New Classical FM and VisionTV., and the new podcast series Marilyn Lightstone Reads.

Weekends are defined by specialty programs like Classical Chartz (a weekly Top 10 countdown), From Zero to 1800 (early and baroque music), Destination Classics (a music travelogue), Sunday Night at the Opera (new and classic opera recordings plus exclusive news and interviews), and Pop Classics, program director Paul Thomas’ weekly look at what’s new and hot in the world of classical and crossover music.

The New Classical FM’s concert series Live From Zoomer Hall, have become a destination for the world’s most renowned performers. These intimate and interactive concerts are broadcast live-to-air and streamed live on ClassicalFM.ca.
